Last night I gave blood down at Chislehurst church. It was a lot busier than I thought and everyone was really nice and welcoming. Once I was checked to see if my iron levels were all in order I had a short wait until it was my turn to be harvested :)
It went so quick and you can only withdraw blood 15mins no longer. I think I filled the bag quicker but they came over and spent some time shaking the bag until my time was up!
I've already booked my next appointment for November.
Let's hope my blood goes to someone who really needs it.
