The boy is back.....

Jack landed in Brize Norton yesterday for 10 days leave. My parents were so excited to see him they drove all the way there to pick him up and back again in the same day! <3

We headed down to see him and have a family get together with one of mum and dads super dinners and a hand picked? from the garden, apple and blackberry crumble..... Absolutely delish! (with two helpings as we didn't have dinner last night hehe...any excuse!)
Yummy crumbles ready to be cooked!

We were joined by nan jean, auntie Marion (nan jeans sister) and auntie Jen! The more the merrier :)

Sister sister :)

Henry wasn't sure of Jack at first being a newish face but soon got to know him and got plenty of cuddles and a bit of sponge bob square pants on the tele time together.

Mum in her absolute element with her two fav boys.. Dad always says he goes further and further down her list after the kids, the grand kids, cat and dog....
Bless him! Hehe xx

Henry didn't nap at all despite many attempts, he just wanted to be part of the fun. He fell asleep in the car as soon as we pulled off the drive and didn't wake at all lifting him from car seat to bed.... Super cute.

Such a precious time having us all together it always goes too quick. Very excited for the weekend with a possible trip to Moat Park for a food festival Saturday, and a little get away hotel stay for James and I tomorrow night... Yippeeee.

Hasn't changed one bit! Xxxx

Aimee can you help me!!

6.30am and after an usual night for Henry being up at 1am then 4am, James got up to retrieve a very awake and chatty little man. Only through the monitor I hear "Aimee can you help me!"

So out I roll half asleep and wander into Henrys bedroom only to see poo! Poo poo poo......

After a 4am mostly asleep slightly awake bottle feed and nappy change on my behalf, I either didn't fasten the nappy properly or Henry took it off himself (he got too hot so had no bottoms on).... He'd been happily playing in his cot with his new "play dough". It was everywhere! All over the cot sides on his monkey his blanket and bumper. You could even see little prints of poo from his hands where he'd walked along his cot (sweet! But ewww) guess if he'd got any in his mouth which is 99.9% likely it's too late for worrying. Is healthy organic food we feed him so what's the harm!? :D

James was gagging.... Threw the windows open and lit a scented candle. I didn't think it was that bad (must be a mothers love!)  it mostly smelt like baby sick. I'd sprinkled some olbus oil on his mattress as he was a little snuffly last night so that combined with the poo smell was sending James a little over the edge (men!)

But like the team we are James ran a bath, I scooped up the sheets, quilt bumper and monkey and threw it all in the washing machine. Henry was sparkling clean and fresh with new pjs, including bottoms this time, with a tightly fastened nappy all by 7am!

Joy!

Monkey drying off....
