James popped down to his parents to help with the xmas decos while I stayed at home, tidied, cleaned and packed for tonight. Mum picked Henry up from nursery at 2 and bought him home. I
Nipped to the hairdressers for 3.45 and got my Xmas trim and style for tonight and by the time I was home, James was back and so was my dad.
Not having time to get ready in the hotel we had to get a scoot on and get ready at home and I had to do it in 25mins otherwise we would miss the train.

Cuddled up, we dashed out the door and down to the station only to find the trains were all cancelled Until 7pm! Uber (new taxi ordering app on mobile) it was and for only £3 more than what our train tickets would cost we went door to door! Lovely :)
Arriving at a place called The Fable which was a bar and restaurant in Holborn, (really cool place with shelves made up of books and candles) James company had hired out the whole of the mezzanine upstairs. With a free bar, pre ordered food and meeting new people all was going well until James and I received our main meal......
Originally we chose sea bass and risotto and James had emailed this to the woman Organising it all. Except we got a vegetarian rosti dish! Now not eating all day we were both pretty hungry and the salmon and cracker starter wasn't exactly filling. So having to put up with a plate full of basically, rocket, feta cheese and a potatoe rosti we planned to get a McDonald's afterwards! Of course we didn't make it and ordered a bowl of chips and bread and butter and carried on drinking :)!
Lovely to spend some adult time together and get a full nights sleep :D
