Grandpa's birthday!

For some reason I didn't take any photos of today. I realise now its because when Henry woke, to give James and I a little lay in, we set him up with toys by my bedside and when he decided to tug on the covers, I gave him my phone. In a sleepy state I knew he was playing with the wardrobe doors but didn't put two and two together. Not having time to look for it I forgot about it and carried on with breakfast.  Later in the day I hunted high and low for my phone realising it wasn't under the bed or in the toy box, it was in the bottom drawer! Thanks Henry! :-)

Trevor decided to join us for breakfast at 8am (even though we had all been up an hour before that and already eaten our breakfast!). Christine and I laid out his cards and we all watched him open them. His favourite card was one from Uncle Michael, as he had paperclip (ed) a tenner to the card only for Trevor to find out it was the same tenner Trevor had sent Michael for his birthday! :-)

James took Trevor up to the golf range while Christine prepared dinner and I got Henry down for his morning snooze. I took a quick walk for some supplies and got back in time for James and Trevor to return. We had a lovely roast dinner as always and the usual extra helpings :-) We had a quick clear up and goodbye to set off to my mums. Henry was spending the night so i could go to a conference that I had booked the next day. On our journey back we also popped into Nick and Emmas to drop Wills birthday pressie off. The house was rammed with kids and their parents as Wills was having a rugby birthday party with fireworks. We were invited to stay but we wanted to make the most of a Henry free evening. When we got home we took a walk to the garage for some snacks and settled down to watched a film, "The Secret life of Walter Mitty". We slept for a solid 8hours! Wooohooo! :-)

Another busy but family filled weekend! Happy Birthday Trevor!
