Mum took Henry home from nursey last night and had him for us which meant we had the evening. James taxi'd over to the hospital (saves driving 2 cars) and met mum and I. I gave mum Henry's overnight bag and James got to pick Henry up from nursey. He hasn't done it for a few weeks and was delighted to see what he was up too!
After saying our goodbyes James and I headed over to Beckenham to catch the 6pm showing of Kingsmen. We were early so grabbed a drink the pub across the road. The film was great and we really enjoyed it. After, we nipped into the Wimpy and grabbed a burger and chips. I was completely shattered (working at the Pruh past 2 days to help out and it's much faster paced to the slower life inOrpington I've come accustomed to! But back there permenantly again soon so best get used to it!) and after speaking with mum to check on Henry knowing he was fast asleep we headed home. Bath and bed we were k.o'd by 9.30!!
James, being the romantic that he is gave me half a dozen red roses a card, another card from Henry and also a gold rolo. To represent his last one :). I began handmaking James card in the week but he was around the house so much I didn't get a chance to do it in secret so I had to finish it at work!
James also had a picnic in Leeds Castle planned for us but the weather being so English and typical we decided on a carpet picnic after Henry had gone down.. He was good for nanny and grandad and ate so much cheesecake he was a little sicky! We didn't stay long as I wanted mum and dad to get an evening to themselves they also looked very weary too. When we got home he was so tired he went down at 6pm!
James and I settled down for the carpet picnic he had arranged and watched some catch up Tv with champagne and red wine! A lovely end to the day! Thanks again ma and pa for looking after Mr
