He's done so so SO well and I'm beyond proud of how well he settles into these new environments and takes things in his stride. Especially sleeping in nursery. That was my one worry. Hate him being grumpy and feeling rubbish because he's over tired especially if his teeth are sore.
James had the day off today so, being Henry's last settling in day from 9.30-3, we dropped him off and went for a run together. Showered and dressed, we popped into town for some lunch at Zizi and picked up a christening gift for Sunday. Got home and spring cleaned before picking Henry up. The day really did go quick keeping busy.
Nursery said he had slept for an hour (my worries gone!) and ate all his lunch and dessert. There was an African drummer in for the kids but Henry wasn't keen on the noise so got to stay in the other room and play. Apparently he was giving one of the girls the run around and was walking in the garden with her and climbing up the climbing frame for about half an hour!
The staff put together these photos of Henry in the week. It's so lovely I almost cried! :)
So glad to have him back for the whole day(s) until Wednesday when I officially start back at work.
