Xmas nursery party

So after 5 days at home and Henry showing signs of getting better I thought I'd try him at nursery for a few hours, especially as it was his Xmas nursery party. He seemed to be getting a bit of cabin fever being indoors all day for 5 days so time for him to see some of his mates.

He was clingy this am and off as per the last couple of days and had a long morning sleep for about 1hr 45mins. After some lunch we headed up to
Nursery. He was initially clingy but with dummy in mouth he headed off and I left him for an hour or so.

After some last min Xmas shopping I headed back to pick Henry up. It was so exciting as at the door the staff had made out father Xmas had walked into nursery with Rudolph to deliver presents with glittery footprints! No man dressed up as father Xmas this year as eveytime it makes the kids cry. Even last year they got him to wave through the window and that was equally a disaster! Bless! Poor kids and staff for trying.

Henry was having his party food with his mates at the table but was showing signs of tiredness. He hadnt slept since 12 and it was pushing 4.30. The staff said he did really well a tad clingy but played and interacted. Phew!

After picking up his Xmas bag which he had made over the last few weeks full of goodies and his present  we said our goodbyes. He napped all the way home.

Home, and he was running around smiling and generally so much better. Hes definately got his personality back thank goodness. It's been so rubbish not having him as himself for the last 5 days. Everything cross that he's finally on the mend :) xx

The entrance into nursery.... Santas footsteps and rudolphs carrots and poo made out of raisins :)
