Waking up and anticipating the sick feeling I was surprised and relieved it had past. I think it was just a 24hour sickbug thing as today has been fine.....Mum started with it thursday and now Dads just picked it up last night so it must be something going round! Im glad I'm over the worst!
Feeling better we set off for Broadstairs at 9.30ish. We made it down to have a cup of tea and take Trevor to the Captain Digby for lunch. Not realising there was a decent play area for kids, I was immediately at ease! Its so hard these days going out for dinner with Henry because he doesn't last for more than he has to sitting in a high chair. Its a nightmare and now he's walking he wants to get around everywhere! So happily taking it in turns we got involved in yet another soft play area......(I told you these will be my life now!:)
Having a decent lunch and me just some chips as still feeling delicate and wanted to go bland with food just incase, we set off to Westwood to grab Christine some goodies to eat in hospital. She had called earlier to give her tea orders to Trevor for a marmite and crisp sarnie so we thought we'd get some nibbles.
Christine looked really well and her pain was under control. I was surprised how many women were on the ward! 7 with 2 at the end making 9. Im used to 4/5! But Christine had made friends with her neighbours which was nice and by the time we left we knew what was happening with each lady next to her....hehe :-) Henry was being very entertaining, walking up and down, waving his arms and pushing his buggy. No one complained which was a bit of luck and everyone spoke to him.
After about an hour we said our goodbyes so Christine could rest and we headed back to give Henry a bath and some tea. Tomato pasta around his chops, dunked in the bath and in his onsie we set off home about 6ish, putting a wash on for Trevor and James instructing him on how to use the tumble dryer! :-) A lovely rainy day.
