We took a little stroll on the green in Beckenham, popped to Aldi for a nappy & wipes stock up then headed home. Henry fast asleep in the car I carried him into bed where he slept for an hour and half. In that time I did two lots of washing, washed up, hoovered and eventually sat down to eat something!
When Henry woke he didn't fancy eating much and as it was a nice day it seemed silly to stay indoors so we set off for a stroll in the directon of Sundridge Park Swings..... James was on route home from London and said he'd meet us in the park or at the station. Having a brain wave James barbers is along the small parade of shops and as we were going in the right direction, Henry was fresh from sleep I thought it would be the perfect time to see if we could get his hair cut.
Luckily we got seated straight away!! They are a family run business just the husband and wife (Vassi and Lisa) who are lovely and know us from James popping in! Henry sat on my lap while Vassi snipped away! He worked really quickly and I managed to keep Henry occupied by showing him pictures and videos on my phone! Give him his due he was so much better tolerating his hair being cut than we had anticipated!
Vassi did a great job and saved some of Henrys hair for me. He even wrote on their business card the time/ date and weather so I can keep it along with his locks. So thoughtful!
We miss his crazy hair but it was a well needed hair cut. He just looks so grown up to us now! Our little man is growing up too fast! Xxxxxxxx
After meeting James we popped into town to treat Henry to some dinner and a book from Watetstones.....
