We made it to Beckenham Spa for Lucs soft play 1st birthday party. We were half hour late as Henry was sleeping like a angle! We had to spend some time waking him. I think his other top "fang" is emerging and he's having some teething problems....
It was chaos in the soft play but all good fun for Henry. It was lovely to see the other NCT mums that I haven't seen in a while too and catch up.
There was a big lunch and Henry got stuck in with the party food. He was sitting in-between his mates, Sofia and Evangeline and managed to snatch Sofia's sandwich from her and eat it himself. I have it on video it really makes me chuckle! Still a way to go yet before he becomes the gentleman....although he did give Evangeline a little soft forehead to forehead love which was uber cute (we just missed taking the picture and they wouldn't do it again!).
After saying our goodbyes and being half hour late behind on the parking ticket (but luckily not getting a fine) we set off for the M20.....It took us 45mins to get from Beckenham to Petts Wood. Being a saturday afternoon it was silly busy and what with my sickness coming back I couldn't hold out.....we made it back home just in time for me to get to the toilet and chuck! With nothing left to bring up...feeling awful and shattered, I slept for 2 hours while James took Henry for a walk and after not eating/drinking anything all day James spoke to the pharmacist and picked up some dehydration meds. Bless him! I stayed in bed for the rest of the day helping out with bath time as the stomach cramps allowed. unfortunately we didn't make it to visit Christine. Despite urging James to go on he didn't want to leave me. I think the traffic had stressed him out by this point anyway!
James shattered from being solo with Henry all afternoon we crashed at 9pm!
