Street Feast

As always, a good excuse to all go out is that someone in the team at work is leaving..... This time it was Rob one of our locom physios..... So street feast in Lewisham it was! After a lot of the girls uming and arrhhing about whether they wanted to go, finally making a decision, decided I'd drive so we could all go together. Abby (nurse), Hannah ( ward clerk) and Liz (therapy assistant) all came
to me for 7.30 and we headed off.

Street Feast is a quirky event going on until September in 3 locations across London. It consists of lots of "street food" being cooked fresh on the spot. It ranged from Cajun chicken and chips and pizzas to pulled pork Caribbean style and Mexican dishes to fancy cooked steak.
There were lots of bars selling different style beers and delish sounding cocktails...... And yay for me a yummy lemonade! :)

Opting for a safe dish (not fancying salmonella while pregs) I chose a chorizo pizza! It was delicious and definitely worth £8!!

Lots of chatting  and mingling we all wrapped up around 10.15ish- some of us were working and others were just plain Friday night beat from work! Having a car full of girls I did a drop off then the rest to me to grab their cars.

A really lovely evening!!

Liz and Orla....

This is when it was dark and my phone camera isn't so great.... But this gives you an idea of the entrance and the feel to the place...

The main bar.... Pretty busy! With everyone trying to prop up somewhere while they juggle a beer and a burger!

One of the quirky names of food seller... Made me Giggle as James uses this saying :)

The best pizza I've ever had!
