A week full of snot

As delightful as the title of this post may sound..... It's true!

Since Henry started nursery he picked up all the lurgies going then James got it then Henry got rid of it (which is great) but James still has it. I, managing to survive both boys with the snots for about a week, thought I was onto a winner by avoiding it but now it's my turn! Seen as though I haven't had a cold like this in about 2years I think my immunse system is having a holiday! Fear not, we are both inviting our immune systems back with a concoction of boots finest medicines!

So far all are temporarily giving us a few hours of energy bursts but I'm hoping the covonia will sort our drys coughs out. Henry's got his snots back and I think we are into a vicious cycle of sharing eachothers germs. Delightful!

We have had a very busy week which hasn't helped the colds, James and I have partially lost our appetites and not eating much until late. Henry's doing well with nursery and I'm busy at work. Although Orpingtons really quiet I'm being asked to help out at the PRUH which I love (old team, fast paced, complex cases)  but having to spread myself between two hospitals and coming down with "the snots" I'm a tad shattered. James has been out at work everyday this week and he's not really that used to it being able to work from home most times. He had to spread himself from London to lecister all in one day and wasn't home till 7.30pm.

We're both grateful for a chilled Sunday. We wandered ito town to grab ingredients for dinner, bought Henry a woolly hat and scarf, a remote controlled car (lil treat, although I think it was more for James as he's been playing with it!) and home for some playtime and sweeping up in the garden.

So here's to a healthy and hearty beef stew I'm making, and lots of cuddles and tele! Happy Sunday!
