I asked nan if she had time over the coming weeks to give my hair a tidy up trim and to my surprise she said she would do it for me today & insisted! It was so lovely as auntie Jenny watched Henry while he napped in the pram and I got a nice hair wash, cut and blow dry.
I love nans hair salon. It reminds me so much of when I was younger and I used to see her clients arriving. I often went in to see them all lined up under the perm machine things (can't remember what they're called) giving me compliments and saying how much like dad I was. I also remember my grandad moaning about them and saying I'm going to hide in the front room because if they see me they won't stop talking! It still makes me smile today :)
Nan still has all her clients and enjoys working at her own leisure.We had a lovely day and I a much needed hair cut! Thanks again nan xxxx
