Xmas Eve

So twas the night before Christmas and there was no quiet as a mouse in this house!!

I sent James and Henry into town to pick up the bits James needed last min for Xmas dins, and I got cleaning! I managed to hoover and steam clean all the floors, finish off tidying Henrys room for guests and did general organising.

We were borrowing my Nans hostess trolley so we could keep all the veggies warm for xmas day. We met my Dad up there as we could use his van to transport it over. As my auntie lives round the corner Dad and I dropped off her pressies in her shed as she was at work, and then headed to Nans. We spent half hour at Nans, exchanged pressies and headed home to finish off the prep for tomorrow.

We unloaded and Mum and Jack soon arrived  so we had some tea and mince pies all before Dad headed off for his nightshift at work. Jack wasn't long back from Thailand the day before so arrived with all presents to wrap and all in time before we was out on the lash with his mates!

James unloaded the thousands of presents from the car and my mums friends Jackie turned up to drop off a pressie for Henry. Was very sweet! We had a quick chat, I put Henry to bed and mum and I got piecing together Henrys Trike and Laugh and learn chair. James and I took in it turns to wrap each others pressies. We were running behind this year but it meant no time for feeling or guessing! We finally stopped about 10pm!

All very excited for santa coming tonight :-)

In Nans in her front room. Its always like Santas grotto and she decorates it so well. It was my Grandads favourite time of year and we miss him lots every time xxxxx
