The Genevieve

After a late start at work this am, I was looking forward to the penultimate class at pole this evening.

Henry has had a rotten almost croup like cough since Monday and today enough was enough. I couldn't get him an appointment for yesterday (mum was going to take him) and managed to bag one for today.

James and I took him in this am and the Dr wasn't very good. Again he told us nothing that we didn't know just that he had a viral respiratory infection and to let him ride it out with the usual on the shelf meds. The Dr looked about 12, disinterested and browned off. He listened to his chest and looked in his throat and ears which is all I wanted really just to make sure. Next time I'm asking for a woman and certain names! Leant my lesson.

I took him to nursery nonetheless and he got on just fine, thank goodness. Im only over the road so I wasn't worried about being too far away and the nursery staff are great and really look after him.

Meanwhile, while James was putting Henry to sleep this evening I got my hour, swinging around the pole. Working on some new things and just feels great when you achieve a pose :-)

This is called the Genevieve.....

My pole teacher "Dave" photo bombing! (her names Laura but she hates her name and has always been known at Dave......No idea why)

No hands! :-) All about holding on with your "knee pit".
