BBQ tea

This afternoon we were invited over to Nick and Emma's for a BBQ tea. James was being a sneak and asking to store some of his hot toy boxes in their loft again!

Christine and Trevor were also up to stay the week to help with a bit of baby sitting. We had a lovely time as always and the food was delish with lots to choose from.

Henry had a blast with his cousins and
was non stop enjoying crawling on the grass and being entertained by all! Phoebe loved pushing him on the tractor William got out for him. And really really enjoyed the trampoline! Especially when William and James were wrestling.

Fun with phoebs

So... "Who's gonna give some of their grub up for me?"

Wills not looking too sure...

After tea Emma ran Henry a bath and we gave him a good soak before pjs and home to bed. He stayed asleep the whole way home and on transfer from car seat to cot. One shattered out babe!

Nice and clean!

A very lovely afternoon :) xx

Swimming Lessons

Henry's officially started his swimming lessons! He has joined Level 2 and goes straight into being dunked under.

He loved it. As soon as he got in he was smiling and splashing around. Being dunked was not problem either. We practiced getting used to being under water and baby clearing their airway which he did after a few coughs from being underwater. After dunking Henry we were told to let go of baby for a second while they were underwater. This is to understand how baby will automatically swim towards the surface. Henry did just that! He wasn't under deep but held out his little arms to aim for the surface. Very brave boy!

We also worked on swimming laying flat so we had to lay baby on there back so they get used to their ears in water. This was done by giving them a toy as a distraction.

Getting ready to be dunked.....

It was super fun and the half hour went so quick! Looking forward to next week. Think mummy and daddy will be fighting over who gets in with Henry. Fingers crossed James is at work next week :D

Playtime! :)
