He loved it. As soon as he got in he was smiling and splashing around. Being dunked was not problem either. We practiced getting used to being under water and baby clearing their airway which he did after a few coughs from being underwater. After dunking Henry we were told to let go of baby for a second while they were underwater. This is to understand how baby will automatically swim towards the surface. Henry did just that! He wasn't under deep but held out his little arms to aim for the surface. Very brave boy!
We also worked on swimming laying flat so we had to lay baby on there back so they get used to their ears in water. This was done by giving them a toy as a distraction.
It was super fun and the half hour went so quick! Looking forward to next week. Think mummy and daddy will be fighting over who gets in with Henry. Fingers crossed James is at work next week :D
