We can't believe Henry is 11months today! This year is flying by & to think he's a year old in a months time is amazing! Our little man...we love him millions!
I love this picture....he went quiet in the hotel room and I found him sitting in the bottom of the wardrobe! It was so funny. He's a right pickle and typical boy....on the go at a million miles and hour and into everything! I even found him putting my hairbrush down the toilet! Delightful!

Birthday Bash
Today was the day! After a long wait and talking about it all year the day finally arrived! Christine's 70th & Trevor's 80th birthday party.
As always we woke at the crack of dawn to be the first at breakfast (Henry couldn't hold out any longer for his tea and toast!). After saying our good mornings we headed back to the room to pop Henry down for a nap and taken the opportunity I headed to the gym to do a run. I haven't been to a gym in almost a year and I really enjoyed it. 30mins running and 10mins weights and stretching I was ready for the day! I headed back to the room to relieve James from nap duty. He was off to play golf with the men for a couple of hours. Christine and her friend Valerie, came to watch Henry while I showered and I ordered Henry some lunch at room service. Can you believe a ham sandwich, yogurt and cut up cucumbers for an 11month old was £15!!! Anyways needs must!
I had to drive back to Farnborough Village in Orpington to pick up the flower arrangements I had made for the tables. My friend from primary school, Georgia, has her own florist and I got in touch with her to have them made. She did a fab job and everyone commented on them. They brightened up the marquee somewhat too. It only took me an hour or so and my mum came along for the drive.
The bouquets.... 10 for each table :)
When I got back James had just finished golf. So he and Malcolm loaded the golf buggies with the flowers and dropped them off to the marquee. He took Henry and I on a drive in the golf buggy and Henry loved helping his daddy steer! We arranged the flowers on the tables in the party room and had a mosey at the juke box .It was a fab jukebox which held about 60,000 songs!
It was about 3pm and James and I were starving so we had a salad in the bar with auntie Rene, Muriel, Christine, Trevor, Val and Malcolm (Vals husband). We then headed back to our new room to unpack and chill before getting ready for the party. (James had booked us a suite for the party night and left it too late to decide if we were staying in the hotel the night before so we couldn't have the same room).
When Emma and the kids came back from their walk, we all chipped in (and when I say all I mean Emma and myself, with William trying his best not to waste the helium) blow up the balloons. We all had a go at choosing a song on the juke box and had a little sneaky boogie. James of course, being a tit, lined up some ridiculous tracks which we had to delete just so the girls could listen to "All about that bass" which was much more like it! Although I think Nick enjoyed it more, he knew all the words! :-)
With the room ready, we headed back to our rooms and luckily I managed to get Henry to sleep about 5:50, so we were onto a winner with a decent nap before the party! It also meant I could get ready in peace and take my time for a change :-) We had to wake him at 7.15! I think he thought he was down for the night!
We met my parents, Nick and Emma at the bar and headed down to the party. It was a lovely evening with dancing, good food, good company and meeting new people. Henry was thriving too! He was dancing and getting stuck in with the kids! Trevor did a lovely speech and birthday couple both cut the cake followed by a dance. A really lovely memorable time.
