Reynolds Spa
James booked us in to Reynolds Spa in Sevenoaks which, we found out today, is very new! The swimming pool was only just finished in February and it sits in a 17acre plot. Plus as its the height of the summer holidays we pretty much had the place for ourselves for the first hour before a few people appeared- lovely!
We did have the conversation "if this was our house with a pool/if we win the lottery" chat!- we can dream! :)
Dropping Henry off to nursey at 8.15 we headed on our way and arrive around 9ish. After the grand tour we quickly settled into trying out the facilities. There was a monsoon shower which had a tropical setting. It was the best thing in there! When you pressed the button it started with warm jets and green lights with noises of the jungle, then into a thunder storm with a quick blast of flashing lights and warmer water which was quickly followed by a light cold most and more jungle/bird noise! It was very entertaining!
At 11.30 I had a manicure while James was allowed to sit in the pedicure chairs and make the most of the massage controls! Then we quickly grabbed a drink and some cracker things for me at the bar (not eaten since 7am'ish and after swimming and heated pools etc I was starting to feel a tad queasy!). We both had a massage booked in for 1am- mine a mummy to be 1hr And 10 and James a mans massage- elbows n'all for 55mins.
I think I nodded off whilst I was having the facial part done as I think I snored/heavily breathed myself awake! Hehe.... It really was lovely and James even enjoyed his this time. After meeting back in the relaxing room we quickly changed and headed for a late lunch. Tea and burgers and chatting it was pushing 3.30! We didn't fancy any more swimming so James went for a wander while I showered and made the most of the lovely dressing table/hairdryer faculties!
Keep the bag!
All done and back in time for picking up Henry at 4.30.
A very lovely jubbly day! Thankyou for treating me James :) xxxxxxxxxx
