Although Henry slept well he woke up at 4.30am ready for the day! It was tough going and although I didn't want to I took him to nursery to see if that would help. James had to go to work so we left him snoozing for as long as he could.
On the way there he fell asleep in the car which was gut wrenching as I didn't want to wake him up and knew how tired he was. It was only 7.30am. Taking him in he was miserable but after standing chatting with the staff for a while he got down from me himself and walked over to the breakfast table....I legged it just incase he got upset.
I, feeling weary and tired myself mooched around the big Tesco's for a bit, kind of like a zombie, picking up James fathers day stuff. Heading home I felt a bit sick and realised it was probably because I hadn't eaten and had bene up since 4.30! So tea toast and a nice long sleep on the couch....I woke up at 11 but decided to go back to sleep I couldn't keep my eyes open! Forcing myself awake at 12.30, I spoke to mum and dad on FaceTime and after 45min of chatting James called and suggested we do a big food shop. So I called nursery and asked if Henry was ok and if he was sleeping, they said he had lunch, skipped pudding and walked straight into the room they snooze in! Bless him, he certainly is familiar with nurse. So they tucked him up and he was still sleeping when I called from 12.15-2.30!
I waited for James to come home and we went together to get little man at 3pm. He was delighted to see us and us him and they said he was absolutely fine, played really well with his little friend and took himself off for his snooze! :-)
After a food shop, we came home to play in the garden, unpack and have some tea. henry went down at the usual time of 7pm and was absolutely shattered! yay! I think we cracked it!
