Holi One Festival

Today James and I went to the Holi One Festival. It's an all day music festival with colour! It's based on Indian festivals where you can throw colourful powder. We travelled up to Wembely Park and got there about 1. It ran all day from 12-10pm but as we also had a BBQ to go to we got there relitively early. 

When we got in we had to que to get our bags of powder (we got 5bags with the price of out ticket) and ended up queuing for an hour!! It was super busy but gave us a chance to consume some beers and people watch :)

When we eventually got our powder we popped to the loos grabbed another beer and set off to get throwing and dancing! There was an hourly count down and when it reached the time the Dj counted down and we threw our powder in the air and all over eachother! It was super fun and James enjoyed it a lot more than he thought he would. Ive always wanted to go and had booked it with a friend but unfortunately we are not speaking anymore so I asked James if he would come with me and like the wonderful husband he is he obliged :) hehe.....

We had good fun and was something different to do. We headed back to chislehurst as it started to get very silly busy and headed to the BBQ, James's hockey friend was hosting. We spent a few hours there and walked home at around 7.30, stopping in the garage for some nibbles. 

And of course our  little man.... Spending 48hours away from him is the longest yet but we didn't drop him to my mum at work till 4 yesterday and as I write this we are picking him up tomorrow :) mum and dad have been updating me with pictures so we know he's had a super time and been spoilt as always. They even bought him a ukulele to play and he loves it :) mum said he got excited looking at the guitars in the window so mum couldn't resist buying him one.  

We spent yesterday evening at the cinema watching Guardians of the Galaxy in the posh seats at Bluewater. It was James choice and I was suprised to have enjoyed it so much as it was aliens with humour :) it's a marvel movie so bound to be good. The best part of course would be the free tea and now, new to the gallery are free biscuits! So I could have a nice brew and a digestive while we watched the film...... Bliss :) 

We love having time together but we miss our little man and can't wait to pick him up!
