We made it into the gardens and came across the glass house which was a bit like a giant conservatory with plants and a little pond. We sat on the grass for a bit and gave Henry some buggy free time. We didn't fancy the pump house and what sounded grand "The Spa Centre" was just a naff looking cinema!
There were some lovely boutique shops to mooch around but as we only had 2 hours on the parking we made it a day and headed back.
Henry fell asleep in the car and I carried him from car to cot where he stayed for about an hour. James wanted to prepare dinner but I told him to take advantage of some quiet time and the glorious sunshine. So we had a coffee with our kindles and magazines on the grass.
Henry woke peckish and full of engery so he came and joined us on the rugs. The boys ate nachos while I put the washing out to dry! :)
We all went off for a swim and after about an hour came indoors to prepare dinner and feed Henry.
After another walk around the garden and some play time we ate our sausage hotpot dinner with Henry snacking. He soon dropped off at 6.30! Here's hoping again that he stays down. This morning he woke at 4.30am and James got up to give him his bottle and he went down again till 6.50ish. :)
Now for James and I to finish off the champagne with a treacle sponge cake and a movie. Bliss :) xx
