A night off....

Mum offered to have Henry for us tonight. She came to see us and realised how much we are hanging out with just pure tiredness. Running around organising xmas, travelling and visiting most weekends, working, both with new job opportunities to prepare for, interviews, personal statements and goals to achieve, plus the broken sleep is slowly taking its toll this week.

I took Henry down to mums and it was nice that Dad was home as I haven't had the chance to see him properly over the last few weeks. We caught up over a cuppa and headed down to their giant Sainsburys in Kennington to do a bit of xmas shopping and pick up supplies.

Dad was loving time with Henry and couldn't believe how sturdy he was on his feet, running a rucas round sainburys. I still can't believe he's walking and almost running myself! His development seems to be going all to quickly. We had some lunch in the cafe and the set off home. Henry and Dad snoozed in the back or I think dropped right off. Dad was on nights the previous night and had only an hours sleep. They were caught at a house fire all night and the roof fell on dad and his colleagues. Luckily they came out without a scratch but its still extremely worrying and an eye opener as to how dangerous the job is.

I dropped them all home and set straight back for home again. James and I went out for dinner and had an early night on the couch with some pressie wrapping. And a full nights sleep. Just what we needed. Thanks mum! xxxx
