Around lunchtime, we decided to take him to Urgent Care at the PRUH. He was still burning up and started to get a small prickly rash both decided the medicine wasn't making a great deal of difference either. We were seen within the hour. As under 2 year olds get priority and are seen within 15mins of the streaming nurse deciding whether Henry should see the DR or go straight to paediatric care, thankfully was just the Dr. We were really pleased with the treatment and the Dr was great. He took Henrys saturation levels and his temp which was 38.9 degrees. The Dr suggested Calpol and Neurofen every 3 hours alternatively to keep the fever down. If his fever was to go beyond 40/41degrees it would be harder to bring down if we weren't regular with the meds, so that was the plan. Plus a prescription for antibiotics and advised to give them to him in 24/48hours if nothing changes with the calpol etc.
So lets just wait and see. He seems to be enjoying sleep at the moment so I'm hoping this will all aid his recovery. My poor lil dude.
He just managed enough energy to steal daddys PS4 controller and have a go.....
