New Park Manor

After the usual packing and 2 hour drive we arrived at the New Park Manor. It's set in the New Forest and was literally situated in the middle of nowhere.... Bliss! There were two residential homes adjacent to the hotel but we are unsure as to whether they have anything to do with the hotel..........

As soon as we walked in it was perfect! There was a toy box in reception and the place instantly felt child friendly. There were toys dotted everywhere and the staff were uber friendly.

As we were early we grabbed some lunch and took a wander around before checking into the room. We had Henry booked into the crèche for the  complimentary 2 hours, 3-5pm. He set off to the crèche happily and after meeting the staff a while beforehand was familiar with them. We popped off to the spa and sat in the outside hot tub in the sun..... Pure bliss.

Every table was set like this and as soon as the staff got to know you they set it up for your requirements....

They provided all the plastic cutlery, sippy cups, bibs etc.... Just so handy not to have to worry about remembering everything!

As the hotel offered kids meal times from 5-6.30 we were able to book in to either eat with Henry or eat later. So we took Henry for his dinner as soon as he came out the crèche and booked in for a 7pm dinner. Henry ate everything! He certainly built up an appetite with all the running around he was doing and the fresh air!

A little snug area where you could sit and lots for Henry to play with....

After Henry went to bed at 7 we went down for our dinner. We used the listening service but also used our own monitor to be on the safe side and it worked out perfectly. He slept the whole way through and we got dinner in peace.

A very lovely start to my birthday :)

Our room was very spacious...We popped Henrys cot in the opening where the bedroom door and the room door was so we cold watch some TV and close the door.

Even had a nappy bin!

Our view from the bathroom... The garden and then the forest!
