The Kidney Bean

Today I had our first scan. I thought it odd to receive a date when I'm only 10weeks but we went nevertheless. Always nice to have extra sneak peaks at our little bean no.2! 

As expecting the sonographer wants me back in 2ish weeks time so I'm all booked back in for 30th March for the 12 week scan when they can measure the head, spine etc. 

The scan went well and we could see a healthy heartbeat and lots of movement! It's so small and still waiting for its legs and arms to pop out that we are calling it our little kidney bean! It even managed a wave for the photo!! :)

As I was explaining to my Auntie Jen on Saturday night that it's going to be a challenge keeping Henry quiet while the sonographer is trying to concentrate, She offered to pop over in the morning to look after him. I could tell she really wanted to and said it was lovely spending time with Henry on her own :) she did a fab job and thanks again auntie Jen! Xxx
