Waking up to another beautiful day, not to mention a 5am wake up call! We pottered around as usual and set off for breakfast at a little restaurant opposite the cinema called Wyatt and Jones. James has had his heart set on a cooked brekkie from here, from seeing it on our last visit.
Getting down there too early as usual we spent some time on the beach. It was 8.30 and there wasn't a soul around just us 5 throwing stones into the tide and letting Henry burn off some steam!
9am and we were the first in for brekkie..... Henry and grandpa we were well away colouring.... well grandpa was! The brekkie was delish, James enjoyed his full english, Trevor toast and marmalade, Christine eggs and toast and salmon and scrambled eggs for moi.
Back to the beach we spent another good few hours out and wandered into the arcade. Henry loved a game whereby you hit the figures that popped up and he had to bash back down. There was even a little stool there for him to stand on. After his 5th go needless to say it was a tad difficult to pull him away.
Heading back home Henry went down for a nap and I chilled in the yard reading in the sun. James ran his car up to the petrol station to check his tyres. When Henry woke we headed back out and up to Victoria Gardens for a kick about with the football granny bought Henry. There was a band playing and it was a lovely atmosphere. To round up we snuck into Morellies for a milkshake just before tea :-)
A roast beef dinner, Henry bathed and ready for home.
Another great weekend at Granny and Grandpas.
