Barnaby Bear

Of all weekends going, nursery chose this one to send Barnaby bear home! Henrys first lot of homework ever and very sweet indeed :-). The aim is to write a short diary of all the activities Barnaby bear did with Henry over the weekend. Needless to say mummy and daddy were a tad pre-occupied with visitors and two boys to look after so we totally forgot to take any pictures of Barney Bear doing anything with Henry......I suggested to James he take him to his hockey game and pretend we all went to watch but James wouldn't take him and while he was at hockey and I was at my parents, I forgot to take him in too, so anyway I thought all will be resolved as Barney can come to monkey music and swimming with us on Monday!

That didn't plan out very well either! Henry woke with a stinking cough and was very under the weather, crying and whinging over the smallest of things at the joyful hour of 4.30am (yes Jake slept through all of Henry's whining much to my relief) when really I think it was because he felt so rough! So despite doing a dummy run to monkey music (to see if it would cheer him up- and mainly get us all put the house for a bit) and half way in the door, Henry kicked off and cried awfully, that I decided it was a waste of time as he would have been miserable for a whole 30mins. After a nice congrats and a quick peep at Jake from all the mums and monkey music teacher I headed back to the car where James was on a work call. Waiting for him, Henry cheered up very quickly and decided all he wanted to do was push his pram around the carpark......(simple things but noticing it maybe the start of him getting picky!)

So we went off to the shops and bought Henry a book and headed home for a chill. That night we did a few snaps of Henry doing what he loves, feeding the fish, playing light sabres and playing with Jake   to pop on the diary...... A little disappointed I couldn't make it a better diary but I'm sure there will be plenty more projects to do in the future! :-)
