It's beginning to look a lot like Xmas.....

We are super excited for Christmas and have spent the whole weekend decorating the house.....

Today we finished off the decos, strolled into town for dinner and spent most the day at home. Was so nice and very much needed. We are all shattered.  I spent some time yesterday and today doing a clear out of my wardrobe and some of Henry's bits that really don't get used to give to his nursery. I've made up a massive bag for the charity shop but just means room for Father Christmas to drop by :)

James did some cooking practice in preparation for Christmas day and I made up our Christmas wreath. We bought it plain for a tenner when purchasing the tree and I spent some time today dismantling the old wreath and rummaging through old ribbons and decos to see what I could use. It was very therapeutic indeed.

Only thing is whenever I walk from the kitchen to the front room I think there's someone at the door. This wreath is big enough to cast a shadow as if someone's standing there..... Eeeek! Hehe.

After dinner I finished off making Henry a little snug in his bedroom. Since his birthday he now has about a thousand toys so I've slowly been finding them homes. With this little area I hope to encourage him to play there at 5am instead of getting in bed with us. Time to set some boundaries I think :). We put together the gift Nick and Em bough him but realised there wasn't much point sticking the tracks together just yet, as all he was interested in was the centre of it. He kept pushing all his cars through the tunnel. Was very sweet.

After a bath with daddy he was out cold at 6.20pm. He only napped once today and thought what mummy and daddy were doing was so much more fun than having a second nap!

A lovely day with my dudes and now to snuggle down for the evening in our own little grotto :) xxx

Spot the TV babe :)
