Turning 1

After a rather restless night which we believe to be down to over tiredness and too much orange juice at his party, Henry was up and raring to go at 5.30!

We can't believe today is the day he turns 1 years old!! I kept peeping at the clock and remembering back a year ago to what stage of labour I was in.... I remember saying to James, he will be born in just half an hour! Although a long tedious labour it was so truely worth it and I look back on it with positivity and amazement of how much my body went through and how it's all back to normal now :) (apart fromthe obvious jelly bits that were never there before!)

Henry was spoilt with MORE presents! Some we kept behind from other family and friends and ours. He loved the trampoline and has decided to use it as a platform for his toys.

Needless to say we will be re-organising the front room to accommodate Xmas and Henry's toys. The house looks like Smyths! And talking of Smyths, Henry received ample toys for his birthday and surrounded by them this morning, he decided in playing with a packet tissues was more interesting!! Typical :)

We took Henry to his Monkey Music class this morning where they all sang Happy Birthday to him and James got a good video and photo of him enjoying himself as always. As Trevor and Christine couldn't make it to the party  we popped down to them to take
some cake and for Henry to open his bday present from his Granny and Grandpa.

We had a fish and chip tea and I took a much needed stroll to boots to pick up Christines prescription for her. The fresh air was lovely, although biting cold, I needed the wake up!

We had a lovely afternoon playing with Henry's new Thomas the Tank engine set   And catching up on how Christine was. She looked really well :)

A very Happy Birthday weekend for my baby boy! We love you beyond words xxx
