I left work at 1.15 and picked up Henry. (although he was asleep and I had to wake him up at nursery he was absolutely fine). I got home just before 2 to grab a parking space with my brother and his gf not far behind. They were babysitters for the evening. They had planned to take Henry to the soft play and then dinner which worked out well with his routine. After they had left we raced to get ready and left at 3.30.
We headed straight to Borough Market and settled in a pub James knows well through hockey. It was called the Brew Warf and served up some great flavoured beers. There was a great design outside which represented this countries wet weather! :)
We had dinner a few more drinks and while slowly roasted we headed for the tube.
We got to Angel at around 6ish and headed for a coffee while we waited.
The show was at 7.30 and was packed! There was a pre-show called a curtain opener (we think) which was a group of kids whom were young carers and part of a charity called "Change" (we think..). They put on a 5min dance piece which represented some scenes from the show and pulled on the contempory/ballet theme of dance.
It was a fantastic show and we both enjoyed it. We got in around 11ish and were shatterd! A really lovely date night. Xx
Meanwhile Jack and Carly did a great job with Henry. They took him to soft play and then Joes Kitchen for dinner, bath, some tele and bed all by 7! A fab job :) thanks guys! Xx
