Again, we found ourselves booked in for 2 house viewings today. It's becoming a bit of a routine now! This would be our third Saturday house hunting.
We went back to the one we like for a second time and yes despite the swimming pool (just something we would have to deal with never mind the work money and general nuisance they are), we still love the place....... And then there was the one in Harrietsham. The land opposite belonged to Leeds Castle and the house itself was two cottages put together. It was once used for the staff that were stonemasons for Leeds Castle. A lot of very interesting history, along with another lot of land that would need looking after, yet, despite that it wasn't what we wanted in a family home.
It would be perfect if we were 40years older and the upstairs bedrooms meant you'd have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other! Not great for growing kids into teenagers, never mind the poor guests!
Aside from that as Jack was home from his week of fire training in Folkstone we met my parents, Jack and Carly in the pub in Lenham for lunch. It was good to catch up and Henry was being his cheeky self as always having us all take it in turns to run around after him. He's picking up so many words now, so much so, he kept standing up in his high chair so I kept saying to him "sit down!"
After about 3/4 times of him standing up and me telling him not to, he stood up, looked at me boldy, pointed at me and said "Sit down" in his cute little toddler voice. Needless to say we were all in stitches- how could I tell me him off now for being so clever!! :) xxx
Back to ma and pa's for tea and a home made sponge cake from dad we left around 6.30ish. A long but lovely lovely day.
Look what they came back with! :)
Henry was sharing with dad and Enjoyed spreading the ice cream around his fave haha xx
