James wanted to pop to Coolings for some garden plants so we planned on hitting Coolings and then to swimming.... Unfortunately it didn't quiet work out....
We hit a slow crawling traffic jam on the way to Green Street Green so with only 2 hours to spare knowing we wanted lunch too, turned in the road and went to Frankie and Bennys.
Ordered, drinks in hand we ended up waiting an hour and pushing for some warmed up sandwhich wraps and Henrys dinner!!! It wasn't even busy! So after getting Henrys dinner and it not looking like we were getting ours anytime soon we called it a day. Luckily the waiter was very sympathetic and didn't blame us for getting the hump so we left without paying a thing. Really terrible and a waste of time!
So with 45mins to spare before Henrys swimming lesson at 2.30 we dropped into Sainsburys and grabbed a sandwich to fill our empty tums- just as well really we know James cooks a feast for the BBQ!
Swimming done with Granny watching too, we were home and prepping dinner. Auntie Rene and Muriel came over and we all had a nice sit down catch up.....
All a bit of a random day but lovely to catch up with everyone... Xx
