So the flight was on time if not a bit early and we were well looked after by the cabin crew. grabbing our bags were quick and easy yet ahead was a bit of a hectic taxi ride home (the driver couldn't speak a word of English despite him being Portuguese and "apparently" living in England for 16years, he lost the parking ticket and James had to translate through the speaker at the barrier what the problem was! And to top it off he broke really late at one point and Henry came all the way forward in his car seat, luckily he was fast asleep, but I threw my arm across him and needless to say, James got calmy mad and for James being a laid back guy whom I've known for 10years have I only ever seen angry once on a hockey pitch meant that he got one step away from being extremely angry......English or no english he got the message and made a bit more of an effort to focus on his driving!)
We arrived home at 9.30am after landing at 7am, Henry still asleep we put him down and did the usual, sort through the mail and lug the cases upstairs. We had a washing machine and tumble in the holiday house so i had done all the washing ready for home which is sooooo handy. Both being weary i suggested we took a nap but James thought it would be a bad idea....so he got on with some work and i began to unpack my case but after he had sat down to chat to his mum, he got off the phone and said yeah lets nap il set the alarm! So we caught a good couple hours snooze waking up just before the alarm......We had to wake Henry as he was still fast asleep.....James went off to pick the cats up while i unpacked and packed away Henrys clothes subtly trying to make a small amount of noise to wake him up. It was like trying to wake a teenager! Eventually at 12.30 he woke after having around 5 hours kip, he was a tad miserable to say the least. I loaded him in the pram and leaving James to work popped to Sainsburys and picked up supplies and dinner.
Home to potter, we ate a chicken and salad dinner, Carly my new sister in law to be :-) came over as she had left her phone in America so i bought it back for her, stayed for a cup of tea and by this time Henry was sound asleep again at 6. He fell asleep in his dinner bless him!
Not wanting a bath, just a bottle we put him down to sleep!
