Jet Lag

After not really dozing off Henry woke at 10.30pm ready to play! Not having any luck getting him down I took him downstairs to watch an hour of Peppa and eat cereal. He was hungry and so was I so we both tucked in.

At around 1am I popped him in the bath to see if that would get him sleepy. I let him play in the bath for as long as he wanted, just to tire him out a bit......I did give him some homeopathic cough medicine which I got in the U.S (he had a bit of a nasty cough out there- we blame the air con) which also helps sleeplessness, warm bottle of milk and this did the trick! Wel all didn't wake up till 10.30 that morning! James missed work by a couple of hours and luckily his meeting was postponed so he could stay at home and work. 

Not having a whole bunch to do, i decided to keep Henry awake as much as I could, I took him to the park in Bromley where he played for about 2.5 hours. In and out the big sandpit and on the slides. James was working from home but came down at around 2.30 to meet us. We both hadn't eaten so we grabbed a sandwich and some supplies for dinner and headed home. Henry fell asleep in the pram and slept from 3.30-5.45.

He went down around 8.30/9 with no problems and slept all the way through till 7.30 again! I could get used to this :-)
